  • The yearbooks are here! If you have ordered one, they will be passed during the last week of school, this is your last week to pre-order them for $45. After that they will be available for $50 when they are passed out. See Mr. Wizard in B1 or either office for an order form.
  • Announcement from the Library: 9th graders, please remember that your library account must be completely cleared before you are able to go on the 9th grade field trip at the end of the school year
  • Several community colleges in the Greater Sacramento Region are hosting week-long summer CyberCamps for high school students* (9th-12th graders during the 2018-19 school year). The CyberCamps are FREE to attendees and provide introductory and advanced Cybersecurity training.  CyberCamps will be held during the last two weeks in June.   • After School Assistance Program (ASAP) Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm – 5:00pm  Emerson and Da Vinci Students: Need some help with homework? Looking to do better on that next math test? Want some help with that essay? Come to the After School Assistance Program (ASAP)! We’ll have teachers and staff there to assist you with all of the above. With progress reports coming home soon, this is an opportunity to get some assistance and make a plan for success. ASAP is free and available to all students. Drop by ASAP and get the help you need!   • 5/24 - Are you interested in an Internship for the next school year?  Come to the Informational Meeting for all 2018-19 DaVinci Interns.  The meeting is this Thursday from 11:30-12 in the Presentation Room.  We’ll talk about next steps: writing resumes and cover letters, and finding internship opportunities for you.  We’ll also answer any questions you might have about the program.  Join us for this important meeting!

  • 5/26 - Prom is at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento. Tickets are available for purchase during lunch.   May 1 thru May 11, price increases to $85 with ASB or $90 without ASB.  Students must have the purple dance contract and table organizer (in office). Cash or checks accepted and should be made payable to Davis Senior High School. Senior Ball Guest Pass Applications are required for non DJUSD attendees.  Guests may not be older than 20 years of age or below the 10th grade.  Purchase tickets as soon as possible.

  • 5/30 - Athletes: If you have signed or will be signing a letter of intent to play a sport at the collegiate level we want to celebrate you on May 30th @ 12:10pm in the Quad. Please stop by the athletic secretary desk in the DHS main office to pick up your information sheet. Information sheets are due to the athletic department by May 23rd to participate in the event. All levels of college participation are encouraged to participate.

  • Folsom Lake College is offering two IT_girls summer camps as part of its FLC Youth Summer Academies program. Both camps are intended for grades 9-12, each camp is two weeks long, and students who wish to take the IT_girls2 camp must have successfully completed the IT_girls1 camp.   • Towson University is once again offering a SPLASH online introductory secure programming logic course for rising female high school juniors and seniors.   • Paid Summer Internship Opportunity - Putah Creek Council will once again be offering its One Creek | Putah Creek Restoration Internship to local students. This internship provides students with valuable opportunities to work with and learn from experts in the fields of habitat restoration, native plant landscaping, outdoor recreation management, native plant propagation, and nursery management. The One Creek | Putah Creek Restoration Internship occurs in June - August (8 weeks) and includes a stipend for participants.   • Bioprinting Technology Summer Program - ideal for students interested in biomedica research. Students will have the opportunity to learn this technology and to conduct cool experiments in bioprinting.   • Breakfast Menu - Da Vinci High serves breakfast Mon, Tue, Thur. and Fri. mornings from 8:50 - 9:15 a.m.  Wed. breakfast is served 8:25-8:55. A food truck will be on campus every Friday during lunch.  Purchase or add your ID number at cafeteria, pick up fruit, milk, and vegetable, and then go to the Food Truck.

The schedule will be updated as new visits are added.  Students must sign up on Naviance prior to attending a college visit and should sign out at the attendance office with a note from a parent/guardian.
