  • The yearbooks are here! If you did not preorder, they will be available for $50 when they are passed out. 
  • Be sure to check the lost and found area just outside the IDC on the way to the gym. Are you missing a hoodie? A water bottle? A lunchbox? It might be there!
  • Students, think about a fun trip where you can see our nation’s capital! In the Summer of 2019, next year, you can travel to Washington D.C. and see the iconic sights, learn a bit of history, and have a fun adventure! If you are interested, stop in and get an information packet from Mr. Lagunes in B-2 (or send him an email at vlagunes@djusd.net). Early registration can earn you a discount rate. This trip is a wonderful opportunity- don’t miss out!
  • Announcement from the Library: 9th graders, please remember that your library account must be completely cleared before you are able to go on the 9th grade field trip at the end of the school year
  • Several community colleges in the Greater Sacramento Region are hosting week-long summer CyberCamps for high school students* (9th-12th graders during the 2018-19 school year). The CyberCamps are FREE to attendees and provide introductory and advanced Cybersecurity training.  CyberCamps will be held during the last two weeks in June.   • DV 9th grade students participate in athletics through the Davis Senior High Athletics Department. For more info click the Davis High Athletics website.
  • Attention all incoming 9th graders for the 2018-2019 school year: interested in trying out for the girls basketball team next season? Participate in our spring/summer program “D-Town” which will run May and June with practices, games, tournaments and team camps.   • Folsom Lake College is offering two IT_girls summer camps as part of its FLC Youth Summer Academies program. Both camps are intended for grades 9-12, each camp is two weeks long, and students who wish to take the IT_girls2 camp must have successfully completed the IT_girls1 camp. Students will have the opportunity to learn this technology and to conduct cool experiments in bioprinting.   • The college visit schedule at Davis High is posted here, in the Davis High Career Center windows, and in Naviance. The schedule will be updated as new visits are added.  Students must sign up on Naviance prior to attending a college visit and should sign out at the attendance office with a note from a parent/guardian.
